The city of Bella Villa would like to thank everyone that helped clean up this year. 20 volunteers were at George Appel Memorial Park Saturday, October 19th as part of the 17th annual River Des Peres Trash Bash. Over 400 volunteers showed up to clean multiple sites in the RDP watershed.
I estimate that our group removed 4-5 cubic yards of trash from the park and Gravois Creek at the site. Volunteers included GSA Troop 11796, St. Mary's student, a St. Louis Alderwoman, residents from House Springs, Chesterfield, Central West End, and other areas.
